With extensive experience in both the movie and advertising industry in the United States, Hong Kong and Macau, Gilbert possesses a unique perspective and uncommon expertise in both fields. Raised in Hollywood, Gilbert has devoted his life to creative media where he is particularly passionate about the art of communication. An award-winning screenwriter and director, Gilbert is a practicing filmmaker and advertising creative who counts among his clients the Macau Government Tourism Office, Mass Transit Railway, Hong Kong Tourism Board and Hong Kong Disney. His script “Filial Betrayal” won Best Crime Screenplay at the 2018 Los Angeles Crime and Horror Film Festival while “Lost in Border” which he co-wrote and produced won the 2015 Network of Asian Fantastic Films Award. Gilbert also teaches part-time at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Academy of Film, Hong Kong Baptist University.
